Supporting Those on a Path to Self-Sufficiency

Furnishing Dignity:

  • Collects new and GENTLY used (no rips, stains, tears, pet hair) items from the community
  • Identifies donated items for use in our client’s homes
  • Cleans/Packs/Delivers furnishings to our client’s homes – at no cost to our client
  • Assembles all furnishings

We provide:

  • New mattresses
  • Furniture for all rooms of an apartment/home
  • Variety of household items for kitchen, bath, bedroom
  • To donate, please use the How You Can Help tab

Those we assist:

  • Meet criteria for low income level/poverty level
  • Lack essential home furnishings and no means to purchase
  • Employed, in job training, or receives reliable assistance
  • Resides in our service area (67th Ave, Peoria Ave, Val Vista, Riggs Rd)
  • Homeless, recently homeless
  • Youth aging out of foster care

Did you know it costs us approximately $232 per person to completely outfit a home or apartment?  Wow!

Our mission is helping individuals and families dwell in dignity by providing furnishings and other essential household items to transform a house into a home. Our vision is everyone deserves to dwell in dignity.

Furnishing Dignity is an Arizona non profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
